Faith in Action Immediate Needs:
 
Listed below are some of the needs currently available for filling.  Thank you for  considering how you might help us out!
 
  • Winter Needs:  Walker area has need for regular snow shoveling throughout the winter at two locations.  Hackensack has a need for snow plowing & regular replenishing of indoor wood supplies throughout the winter months.

 

  • Walker: Immediate need for House Keeping Volunteers.

 

  • Pine River: Immediate need for Respite Volunteers.

 

  • Specialty Skills: We are in great need of 'Specialty Skills' Volunteers.  If you are a builder, plumber, electrician, mason, etc... We Need You!

 

  • Ramp Crews: 'Tis the season for ramp building!  Crews learn the specifics for making ramps and enjoy the commoradory of other crew members.

 

  • Cass Lake: Respite/Friendly Visiting & transportation.

  

  • Remer: Friendly Visiting with several individuals in the Remer community.  Cribbage players are encouraged to apply!!

 

  • Pillager: Transportation and Friendly Visiting in the Pillager community.

 

  • Walker/Hackensack: Transportation for dialysis appointments and the food shelf in the Walker and Hackensack communities.

 

  • Hackensack/Longville: Immediate need for light housekeeping 2x a month.

 

  • Backus: Help with housekeeping chores, such as vacuuming, dusting, or cleaning drawers or closets.

  

  • Monthly Book Deliveries to Shut-ins: We are partnering with the Kitchigami regional library in a new program which brings books and other materials right to a shut-in's door.  Wanna Volunteer?
